The inside of the track roller is a shaft sleeve connection, without bearings, and the interior lacks lubrication after oil leakage, so you can try to pump butter inside to maintain lubrication.
The hex screw is on the side of the spindle
If you observe carefully, there is a hexagon socket head screw on each common type of support wheel, some on the curved surface of the roller, and some on the outside of the main shaft.
If the bolt is located outside the main shaft, you only need to unscrew the hexagon socket head screw and replace it with a grease fitting.
Then you can lift the grease gun and pump butter into it. If it is an oil leaking roller, it needs to be beaten more for the first time, and then it will be enough to beat three or four times when butter is buttered every day.
The inner hexagon screw is on the side of the roller
If the bolt is on the surface of the roller, it will be difficult to handle. Even if the hexagon socket head bolt can be unscrewed, it can only be buttered once. If you want to replace it, try to replace it with the inner hexagon on the side of the main shaft. Even if the oil leaks, you can continue to use it with butter.
According to this method of maintenance, the oil leaking rollers can be used for at least 2000 hours, which can help the owner save a lot of money.
