The 2025 Global Top 10 Crane Manufacturers Ranking, released by the organizing committee of the Global Construction Machinery Top 50 Summit, shows that the total sales of the top 10 global crane manufacturers in 2025 reached US$15.882 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.57%. Compared with the previous ranking, there were no changes in the companies included in this year’s Top 10 list. Liebherr maintained its leading position with sales of US$4.403 billion; XCMG, Zoomlion, and Sany Heavy Industry ranked second, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

By examining the first-half performance of XCMG, Zoomlion, and Sany Heavy Industry, we can estimate that this year, Sany Heavy Industry is likely to surpass Zoomlion in crane sales and return to second place.

Liebherr takes the lead.
Germany’s Liebherr retained its top position with sales of $4.403 billion, and was the only company on the list to achieve year-on-year growth (0.67%). As a global leader in construction machinery manufacturing, Liebherr’s product portfolio encompasses a wide range of categories, including mobile cranes and tower cranes. The company has more than 100 branches worldwide and holds a strong foothold in the high-end market.
